It was the year 2013. I was shopping with my wife at a department store for her facial creams and cosmetics, I started to think there was something fishy going on...
My wife was always buying expensive creams, lotions, and serums to protect and enhance her skin.
The sales team loaded her shopping bag with hundreds of dollars worth of products … for her face, hands and, the entire body.
HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!
I couldn't believe it. What made my senses tingle more was the fact these weren’t the same products she used before.
Why? Because she’s older now and needs a different regimen. That made no sense to me.

All these products…. Hundreds of dollars… New products with age. This couldn’t be right!
Later that week we had dinner with my 74-year-old Mother. I asked her about the skin care and cosmetics she used and why. Not surprisingly I got the same story as my wife.
So I decided to seek out other women to learn more about this perceived scam. Interview after interview I got the same answers. And when asked about their happiness and satisfaction with the results, I got mixed reviews.
The women and I talked about the inconsistent results their skin care products delivered. They were frustrated. I could hear it in their voices.
After decades of trying “the latest and the greatest”, “the newest and best since…”, or the “remarkable discoveries that…”, the women told me they were spending too much money and not finding the products that could really be trusted.
“Every month, I spend so much money on high-end products that “guarantee” healthy-looking skin but don’t always deliver on that promise.”
Also, I heard from many women there are too many products that need to be used together to have healthy skin.
Some women joked – “I need a whole suitcase when traveling just for their skin care products! or “I have a whole shelf in their bathroom - just fortheir skin care and cosmetics.”

But I could tell this wasn’t a funny situation, just more frustration because simple alternatives weren’t on the market.
None of the women felt they could go without one or more products and not compromise their beauty.
Overwhelmingly there were concerns about the rising prices as they aged. “How much should a girl have to budget for great, healthy-looking skin?” one woman asked me.
She was right and at that moment I didn't have the answer.
As I sat in the room talking with the women, I could sense their annoyance with the skin care and cosmetics industry as a whole. It was written on their faces, displayed in their body language, and heard in their voices.
I took some time to reflect on all these good insights and valid points. I really began to empathize with their situation and started to get a bit frustrated myself...

I decided I could do better than department store brands for the women in my life and for women everywhere… and that’s when Vibriance came to life.
Consulting with cosmetic chemists, dermatologists, and beauty experts from all over this great country, we researched what worked and what didn’t work in skincare.
We first sought to create an all-in-one product that could replace a cabinet full of skincare creams, lotions, and serums.
It took about 2 years to finally perfect our flagship all-in-one product, Vibriance Super C Serum, but when we finally got it right, as they say, the rest is history.
Since Vibriance was formally established in 2015, over 100,000 women have simplified their skincare routine with Vibriance Super C Serum. We’ve also expanded our line to create other multitasking products designed to work fabulously on all ages and skin types.
