2. Be Succinct.

The best compliments are delivered with brevity and a smile. Don’t let nervous dead-air keep you talking. Let the compliment “hang” by itself so the recipient has a moment to ingest and embrace it. Watch as your kind words light up her face and perk up her spirits!

3. Be Specific.

The best compliments are detail-oriented. Don’t just say “your scarf is pretty.” Rather, say “the color of that scarf makes the blue of your eyes really pop!”
